Antioxidant-packed, incredibly creamy, and that golden-orange colour is just pure joy in a glass.
Servings: 2
Prep time: 5 mins | Blend time: 2 mins | Total: ~7 mins
INGREDIENTS
• 7.1 ounces frozen mango chunks
• 2 pieces medium carrot, peeled and chopped
• 1 pieces banana (fresh or frozen)
• 1 cups coconut milk (or oat milk)
• 1 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
• 0.5 teaspoons ground turmeric
• 1 pinch black pepper (activates turmeric!)
• 0.3 cups fresh orange juice
• 4 pieces ice cubes (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prep your ingredients: Add 2 pieces medium carrot, peeled and chopped to your blender first (harder ingredients go in first to help the blades work better). Then add 7.1 ounces frozen mango chunks, 1 pieces banana (fresh or frozen), 1 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated, 0.5 teaspoons ground turmeric, and 1 pinch black pepper (activates turmeric).
2. Add liquids: Pour in 1 cups coconut milk (or oat milk) and 0.3 cups fresh orange juice. If you like a frostier, thicker smoothie, toss in 4 pieces ice cubes (optional) too.
3. Blend until silky smooth: Blend on high for a full 60 seconds — don't rush this. The carrot needs a good blitz to get completely smooth. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed, then blend again.
4. Taste and serve: Taste it — if you want it sweeter, add a squeeze of extra 0.3 cups fresh orange juice or a little drizzle of maple syrup. Pour into glasses and drink immediately for best taste and nutrition.

💡 Tip: Blanch the carrots for 3 minutes first if you want an even silkier smoothie, or just use a high-powered blender and go raw!
