INGREDIENTS
• 2 pieces ripe avocados
• 4 pieces sourdough bread slices
• 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
• 1 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 pieces garlic clove minced
• 1 teaspoons chilli flakes
• 1 pinch salt and black pepper
• 1 cups cherry tomatoes halved
• 1 pieces fresh microgreens to top
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Toast the bread: Toast your 4 pieces sourdough bread slices until golden and crispy. You want them sturdy enough to hold the toppings without going soggy.
2. Smash the avocado: Scoop 2 pieces ripe avocados into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 pieces garlic clove minced, 1 pinch salt and black pepper and mash with a fork to your preferred texture — some like it chunky, some silky smooth. Both are perfect.
3. Assemble: Spread the smashed avocado generously over each toast slice. Top with 1 cups cherry tomatoes halved, scatter 2 tablespoons hemp seeds over everything, add a pinch of 1 teaspoons chilli flakes and a handful of 1 pieces fresh microgreens to top.
4. Serve immediately: Eat straight away while the toast is still crispy. A final squeeze of lemon over the top takes it to the next level!
